I have a 1995 XJS with a OBD11 plug but I cannot find the fault codes in any of my books or on the net
Can any point me in the direction of a fault code list please?
Michael

There is a standard list of OBD fault codes that apply to all cars. There are some manufacturer specific ones (starting with 1 I think). The point of OBDII was that it was universal and will apply to XJS's from 1995.
If you're getting it read I would suggest that it's done with one of the more sophisticated pieces of kit like Autologic as that will get into the fault logs where there has been an issue but not a big enough one to light the MIL.
Keep us posted!

This looks an interesting idea, although they say only suitable for vehicles post 1996.

Hi Pop
A friend plugged in a professional reader to Rosie and there were 3 faults codes bu none current so he deleted them and they didn’t return after a run.
Yesterday I replaced all 6 coils and so far Rosie is running well

In general OBD2 applies to cars from 1996. Jaguar was an early adopter so X300's and XJS's from 1995 are OBD2 compatible
