Radio and CD player

I have a 1993 facelift Convertible and I have lost the use of all the button controls on the radio and CD player. It will switch on and is currently locked into playing a CD from the 6 disc stack in the boot, but I cannot change to another CD or access the radio. It would seem that the player will have to be taken out of the centre console, but I am not sure how this can be achieved? Also any ideas on who could repair this bit of kit?
