Shall I or shouldn't I?

Two miles up the road from me is a xj-s which I can have for £200, same year as mine, similar spec. It is a sad rusted example which won't see a MOT certificate in its life again but it still runs and is mechanically ok.
Now don't tell my other half, but I reckon it would yield many goodies both to enhance mine, and to donate the remainder on Ebay.
Now I'm under no illusion on what parting a car involves as I have been through that problem with my old Series III V12 Sovereign, the first person wants the wheels which means you can't move the damn thing anymore, engine weighs a ton, etc etc.
I can only find space to do it if I insist on ma rivet's Citroen moving out of the garage which really won't be popular being autumn and all.
Stupid idea really, best forgotton
Umm, wad'ya think! Should I...

Heh! It's a conundrum, isn't it?!

I guess it comes down to how much time you've got and how quickly you think you can shift the parts.

Oh, and how much you need the spares!

It would be a shame for all those potentially useful parts to be binned if you've got the time to recycle them.

If you think you can do it, I'd say go for it. You can justify it on environmental grounds ;-)
