The word stunning is often overused today, but it's warranted here - what a stunning, gorgeous car...well done, really great work...

Many thanks for your very kind comments gents but please be aware that my "hands on" involvement in recommissioning sleeping beauty was minimal. Unfortunately, at present, I do not have a workshop/garage space to carry out such work. All the dirty bits were sorted by my local tame Jag Indie - Mistermatic. Its quite interesting that John (Mistermatic proprietor) was a young mechanic at the Jaguar dealership where this car was worked on back in the mid 1980s. Being one of only three mechanics working on the XJS model, its quite likely he actually worked on her back then.
Both of us have been amazed with the condition of the old girl - no weld repairs have been required to return her to the road. So - whilst I'm always ready to receive a justified compliment - in this case the compliments must go to the old girl herself - she just didn't want to die quite yet

I'll get some more photos together shortly and hope to turn up at one of the forthcoming AV8 breakfast meetings.

It's a rare thing to see a pre-HE these days so I'd love to run a magazine article. It would also be great to see you and the car at Kemble and we can have a chat there.

That car is a legend for me!! i have heart issues and i have a feeling that if i would own it i wouldn't need pharmacyreviews.md anymore because my heart would get all healed up LOL.
