Bleinheim Classic show

I rarely go to shows but Mrs Rivet had been pestering me to visit Bleinheim Palace so we went off to the show on the Bank holiday organised by http://www.classicshows.org/.
Well organised I thought, the cars were parked in areas seperated by decade, not a vast number but a good variety of makes and models that of course you don't get with purely Jaguar events. There were five XJSs there including mine which I thought was excellent, I didn't get the chance to meet the owners as I was hauled off to visit other things on site but if you were there let us know how it was for you.
Very few other Jaguars, A white XK120/140/150 of some sorts and a sprinkling of XK8s. I don't remember seeing anything else Jaguar related.
Cars were invited into the show area by decade, the owners interviewed over the public address and the cars judged by popularity as much as condition. Those winners then competed against each other at the end and best in show was awarded, won by a lovely Lotus Cortina.
So, an enjoyable low key event where any car and its owner could have a good day out regardless of condition, (the car that is, not the owner!).
