Can anybody tell me how many Celebration model 4.0L convertibles were made with manual transmission? Would be grateful for any steers on this.

Thanks

Peter,

My guess is not many at all. One day, I'll go up to the JDHT and see if I can search the records properly.

As a general rule, about 10% of facelift 4 litres from 1991 were manuals. However by the end of production when the Celebration was the XJs model. most production was going to the US and most cars were convertibles. Consequently the number of manual cars was very very low. I've only ever seen 2 manual Celebration convertibles myself. So, quite rare beasts and great fun to drive - really quite quick! Anyone out there got one?
