Rich,
Intriguing! Do explain, so that other members will not think that all the Heritage Certificates are flawed!

Re: build sheet
Paul - this is the XJR-S prototype car that we uncovered (remember the XJR-S car at the top of that list/info you have on XJR-S?). The one that is believed to have been pulled from the Prod line as a left-hand drive North American car but then sent to TWR/JagSport as a 5.3 V12 prototype, then upgraded to a 6.0 V12 - hence it is a mixture of pre and post face-lift bits. The VIN suggests left-hand drive North American V12 Coupe, hence my belief that a Heritage certificate would not necessarily pick-up on it's XJR-S prototype life before it was finally sold-off with the Jaguar Sport closure.
Having seen the car earlier this year at the Gaydon trip with Vince et. al., we can vouch for it being at least right hand drive and looking like an XJR-S with pre and post facelift bits
I have no idea if the build sheet show anything different. If it stayed with the car all the way through to TWR/JagSport, then it may show something extra?

Re: build sheet
ah !
that Tim and his XJRS
i remember , it still sports the american market front side indicators, the oversized ones , as well as a mix of parts
a unique car indeed if some lineage can be put together for it
we need some pics
but whatever you do, dont change a thing for the time being bar keeping it on the road

Re: build sheet
Hello Tim, as Paul states, the build sheet is what the car was ordered as by the dealer/importer or maybe Jaguar themselves. It will therefore only likely show it as a "standard" XJS V12. The Heritage certificate uses most of its information from this so it probably won't catch any subsequent provenience such as your car seems to have.
My understanding is that TWR records are apparently rare / lost. They would have reflected the customer order for TWR conversion. Almost every car has a different spec which makes things interesting now for collectors and enthusiasts.
Regards,
