INTERIOR LIGHTS

Hi has anyone upgraded there interior lights to LED including foot well and door lights? If so do you recommend them and do they make a difference

If you do, get ones with the yellow filter in them. I tried just the standard cheepo replacements first in the cabin of my Passat and they were horrible :( So changed over -- for the footwells too.
And get those that are advertised as "CANbus friendly". You could end up with a "bulb out error" showing up if you don't coz your on board diagnostics is looking for current consumption of a filiament bulb, not a LED

More recently replaced the white LEDs I'd used as number plate bulbs of my '01MY XJ8 Exec.
They just looked wrong for the age of the car... :cry:
