Re: New clock :)
I think it's about £50.
http://www.sidmaster.co.uk/buy-it-now-r ... ort=normal
£30 extra if you want the AC done at the same time.

Just to add to this, I too got them to do the clock on my X300 and it was excellent, however be wary of doing the AC panel, I did mine and they fitted LEDs, and to be honest it looked too bright afterwards, so I switched back to normal bulbs, I think if you do the AC panel with LEDs you need to add a resistor to dim them a bit..

Re: New clock :)
Hi everybody.
Has any member had any dealings with Sidmaster recently. I sent my X300 clock for repair almost 2 weeks ago by recorded post , which was delivered to them next day,
and to date have had no contact back from them. I have tried emailing and telephoning them , but no joy. Regards.

Re: New clock :)
Oh dear, I think Sidmaster went to the wall a few moons ago. I have had a new recon clock from them about a year ago, cost £99. Some of the pixels failed about 3 months ago. I tried everything to contact them, with no reply. I tried another Jag forum and it was noted they were bust. Fortunately I have a local friend in the business that has done a permanent repair, so mine is perfect again. I could be wrong, but I even had Damone's phone number (the guy that owned the business) and there is no-longer an answer. Sorry. Perhaps someone else knows better, if so I would like to speak to Damone about his lack of response to his so-called life-time warranty! AND...........Don't try to get the bulbs for the clock once they fail, the supplier solders them in quite poorly (according to my mate) and uses cheap LED's.Hi everybody.

Re: New clock :)
Hi Peter.
Thank you for replying to my post. Not the news I wanted to hear though . I sent the Jaguar clock to Sidmaster by recorded post, and it was delivered , and signed for so I assumed that all was okay, but obviously not. Now I can't even get the clock back , and I paid £54 for the repair as well. What a mess. I guess I will have to source another clock unit somewhere now, even a faulty one would suffice at this stage to fill the gap.
Thanks Again.
Richard.

Re: New clock :)
Hi Peter.
Just to update you on the Sidmaster situation. I finally got the refurbished Jaguar clock back this morning, and all is good. I think the owner was having some business partner problems, which have now been sorted. All is good.
Regards.

Wow-wee...............That could be good news indeed. Damone is a really nice guy, and run a good business with good prices. Please pass on any info of his where-abouts and/or phone numbers etc. Thanks for the info.

Re: New clock :)
Hi, would you say its safe to use this service now then?
the thought of chasing someone who doesn't respond to calls or messages doesn't inspire, but at the same time i need some of these clocks fixing, and don't fancy doing ti myself really.
Also with the replacement parts used, does the clock look factory correct afterwards?

Re: New clock :)
Hoi Naki.
The clock I received from Damone was almost exactly factory looking. It failed after about two years, but only the bulbs, aye both of them! The soldering was very poor according to my work colleague. New 3.2 LED bulbs with no covers, are prefect. You'd need to feed the wires through the base of the old units, and clip them in, don't solder the units in as some suggest.
