day of rest....well that didn't happen

i planned not to do anything car related this weekend, but it didn't last long,

while moving the car to allow my son to get his motorbike out ( CBR500R ) i glanced down and was reminded that the leather needed a clean and a feed.....and so it started

i have some Autoglym leather cleaner and some leather care, the cleaner was sprayed onto the surface of the seat, and with the use of cloths and a soft nail brush was gently worked into the grain of the leather , this grain had gone a dark dirty colour in contrast to the nice red it should be , i did this several times while wiping clean in-between treatments , this lifted the dirt and left the seats looking like new , it did however take four hours yesterday afternoon

and i still have to add the leather feed , maybe after todays F1 GP

That's how it works. My wife knows that if I'm "just popping into the workshop" then I will get distracted by something and disappear for a while.
It's quite satisfying cleaning leather isn't it?

however, this colour ( Mulberry over ' wine red ' carpets ) never photographs very well , and its also a ' marmite ' colour, you either love it or you don't, lol

in my case.........i do ( how many do you see ? )

also , the ' French stitching ' on the armrest , console and door pulls came up well, all the dirt was removed from between the stitches ,
