Pre face lift clock facial panel removal ?

Could anybody tell me how to remove the wooden panel holding the clock/light switches on a 1990 pre face lift as I need to verneer this again? Many thanks

You can just pull the clock out if somewhat gently. The facia is just pressed in, gently lever it out from its press pins.
Yet to try to do it yet!

Popped the clock out tonight and gently pull off the panel. You need to take care pulling this off as the metal to this panel is very thin and will bend out of shape with little effort!
