front drivers seat adjust.

Hello Folks,
I need a bit more legroom as i'm 6ft 2" as does my son who is 6ft4". I have adjusted the drivers seat back as far as possible but it comes up against the rear seat. If one removes the rear seat is it possible to get the drivers seat to move further back? I suppose the answer might be try it and see Ok but also wondered if anyone had made other modifications to achieve more legroom. Any advise appreciated.. Charlie.
