It is from the information on the build sheets for the vehicle as per XJ-SC Register. The car was built in '85 and then brought over to the Isle of Man in '86 for the TT that year, it was then sold off in '87 by the local dealer. So for approximately 15 months it was @ Browns Lane between the build date and the shipping over to the Isle of Man. Certainly all the other details on the VIN plate match the vehicle, only the TRIM code is different. What year did the Penine Tweed get released?
