We are car no 226 with a 10.20 start so you guys will probably be on your way before we even get there! Perhaps our paths will cross at Amberley or down in Brighton?

Here's hoping to meet-up with some of you on Sun. My plate is actually 152 (rather than 125 - that belongs to an X-Type) -I have amended my original post.

Talk about cutting it fine though - I collect my serviced XJ-S from the Garage tomorrow morning! Then will be in transit to London via Sudbury Hill Harrow to visit friends in the pm, then onto a hotel near Kempton Park for the eve + overnight stay. Hopefully all fresh and non-grumpy for the Sun am start.

Mmmm, missed most of the route and the stop this year due to failed battery at Cobham Shell garage. Lost nearly two hours though the RAC were very good with providing a suitable new battery.

Also very grateful to the folks in the cream XK120 and the Series 2 XJ coupe who stopped to help.

Still, had a nice afternoon in Brighton despite the local protest and heavy police presence.
