NEC Classic Car Show

Is anyone interested in getting a gathering together to go to the Classic Car show at the NEC.

I've just got back from a great trip to Gaydon with the club courtesy of our events co-ordinator Tony and as their seemed to be quite a few folks from the midlands wondered if its worth while.

What does everyone think :?:

I'll have a think where we could meet, although you guys might know the area better. I used to live in Ashby which is not that far away. However might be better just this side of the NEC.

Does anyone have any preference on Saturday or Sunday?

I'm easy either day, suppose Sunday might be the best for traffic for those driving a long way although its always pretty busy around the NEC area especially the M6 at the moment where they are increasing to 4 lanes.

I live just off the A45 in Coventry so its a 10 minute drive for me.

There are a number of places where we could meet up around that area i.e pubs.

One thing to consider for those who will be travelling in their pride & joy, is that the car park spaces at the NEC are decidedly narrow so be prepared for the risk of a ding or two.

hope it helps

Thanks Alan.
Yes there is that I suppose. Just have to find an Astin or Ferrari to park next to.
