Yesterdays meeting had an American theme but there were a good selection of all marques making for an interesting day. Jaguars were thin on the ground, apart from my XJ-S, there were two E Type coupés, one a left hander, an older S type and a well known XJ40 conversion that has been in numerous magazines over the years. It was so good to see owners chatting, laughing and admiring each others cars with the freedom of not having to wear a face nappy once more.
Whether attending an event or not the cafe is a decent place to stop for a break or to meet up with friends. For the aircraft lovers there is even a 1969 BAC 1-11 in the car park, well part of one at least, and gliders being towed aloft from the nearby Lasham airfield.
