I would like to visit the new Jaguar Classic enterprise. When I raised the idea a few months ago I was assured that the club was arranging something for 2018 at national level - but since then it has gone deathly quiet. I think the benefits of a club visit were supposed to include discounted entry rates, specialist guided tours and a visit "behind the scenes".

I hope the club still has this firmly on the agenda.

I've stepped forward and have organised an Exclusively XJS Event at the Jaguar Land Rover Classic Works, for Saturday 15th September.

It is open to all XJS owners to bring their cars, whether they belong to this club or any other XJS related club.

Tried to register on the soft-tops website, but I am unsure if it actually accepts my registration - all boxes complete and then hit register and they all clear. Is this correct? If you can let me know as I would love to attend on the 15th (drive past this place on a regular basis)
