I don't want to jinx anything, but the weather forecast looks promising for tomorrow :) Should be good for coffee at 10am with XJ-S. May have family in tow provided my son (2.5yrs) doesn't develop a full-blown cold by tomorrow am.

Cheers, Rich.

Sorry not to reply earlier, we were away at a wedding yesterday.
No problem with you coming, you're very welcome. We'll see you at the hotel at ten.

Best Wishes

Hello,
Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed the event today. The convoy was fun (plenty of heads turned during the drive down to the Museum!) and the museum very interesting.

Special mentions for Sue at the Great Western who found my missing V12 badge in the car park... the staff at the Museum for looking after my (lost) mobile phone... and Tony for organising today and for lending me a camera (I forgot mine!).

Fortunately, I did not lose the Jaguar or the family during the day or on the way home!

Cheers, Rich.

Hi Tony and fellow convoyers!!!

Just a note to say it was great to meet with everyone and I had a great time. The convey was quite cheeky wasn't it and certainly turned a few heads when we arrived. Got some nice pics which I will have to figure out how to post.

In the mean time if anyone gets time then they can visit my web site www.jaguarxjs.org.uk and check out the gallery pages where you will see the pics!!! :D

I try to drive my car in the winter also, so if we can get together again it would be great. Anyone fancy Beaulieu :?:

Sounds like you all had a great time, sorry I missed it. Alas family commitments prevented me from attending. I hope I can meet up with some of you at the parts fair next month. Are there any plans for an XJS meeting area?

POSTSCRIPT

Dear All

Thanks to all of you for the replies and positive feedback - I think we all had a grand day out. :D I do think the convoy was a hoot and deffo. something to do again in future - it really was a great sight.
Mike - Winter meets are a bit tricky due to the weather, dark days, Xmas etc. but perhaps you and the others can sort your trip to the NEC as the next event if you wish, at present I don't think I'll be going but as I said I've changed my mind the night before in the past!
Iain - I very much enjoyed our run back and you certainly didn't hold me up, it's just once we got to Cirencester the auto-pilot kicked in 8)

More pics in the gallery.

I will be putting together an article and pics for the Forum pages so if you wish to submit any thoughts as copy or you've got a good pic could you post here or send it to me by e-mail and we'll see what we can put together. Please do post any pics (or comments) here anyway - if you've mastered the system that is!

V Best Wishes
