lets have our own BREAKFAST meet ??
Moderators:davidr, BigCatXJS, dhdove
Hi All,
Great day and enjoyed the company, even the weather was kind. Just to round it off, after all my recent work the car performed brilliantly and nothing dropped off, so what more could I ask for.
Thanks to BB of course for stirring us all up to go out for the day
Oldtimer
PS Still missed me breakfast !

Good to see everyone today and top marks to BB for putting it on.
A shame that the AV8 cafe was closed (apparently due to a problem with the roof) but I hope it's up and running again by next month.
The museum in Bourton on the water is charming and well worth a visit.
Thanks to all for your good company today and hope to see you again soon.
Regards
David

Re: lets have our own BREAKFAST meet ??
great day out with great company
well done to everyone who made the effort , you were rewarded with great weather and an interesting good value museum in the very pleasant setting of Bourton on the Water
as said above, shame the cafe was closed due to the recent rain storms making the roof collapse , but it will be open for the next meeting , this did not however detract from the day , as its still a good gathering point to set off from ,
the car ran well with an overall journey of 70 ish miles with no troubles after the recent coolant change ,
talking of the next meeting on September 26th , this clashes with the Western day show, so i will not be there, but don't let this stop everyone else from not going out for a fine breakfast
again , good effort by everyone who attended ,

Re: lets have our own BREAKFAST meet ??
Just a quick note to say thank you for organising the trip out. We had a great day and it was good to catch-up and meet new folks. We were fortunate with the weather on Sat. Blenheim was a complete washout yesterday although best of British soldiered on and the boys enjoyed the activities. The heavy rain has revealed a long suspected leak from the bottom right corner of the front windscreen ( slow drip ).
Separately, if anyone has any photos from Sat, please can you email them to me at richard.bowles@jec.org.uk? I hope to complete a small write-up in the club magazine at some point.
Cheers, Rich

Re: lets have our own BREAKFAST meet ??
BREAKING NEWS
i have provisionally managed to organise a ' dealership day ' at H A Fox Cheltenham for the October Breakfast meet , thats October 31st 2015
I have contacted the manager of the branch , Sam , who has kindly agreed for us to meet at H A Fox in Cheltenham , we can have a coffee and a natter, and also test drive the F-Type and the new facelift XJ

we can either meet as usual at Kemble, or meet directly at H A Fox Cheltenham , i will leave that up to the majority who express them selves
who is up for that ??

BB. That's a great idea. I'd be up for a bit of brekkie at Kemble and then go on to HA Fox. Would personally be interested in the new XE as well.

Nice one Vince - I have found H A Fox in Cheltenham to be very helpful in the past when I was considering an XF diesel.

Well done Vince, I won't be there myself but I am pleased to see someone taking initiative.
I think with Kemble and the like you have created a new club Region
