I'm not sure how to directly embed video directly into this page, sorry for poor quality, I was using my box brownie.

Who'd ever have thought that our fine upstanding Chairman would drive like a hooligan?!! Well done Rob even if it was a struggle to keep the water in the radiator! And your car gets my vote for the best noise of the day!!

Rich

Great video, thanks for the ride!

Looks like a great day was had by all and perhaps more hands on days in future?

Sorry we couldn't be there we were supporting Caring With Cars (Pistonheads) at Down House School, which was huge but not nearly as exciting by the look of it!

thanks, glad you all enjoyed the day, it was a true pleasure running guys and girls up the hill all day, 10 runs from memory, quicker and more hairy each time!!!, got the hang of it on the last couple of runs,

BB, where's this in car vid you shot then??!!

I think the run here was an early one with traction ON, soon switched it off

A great honour to be asked to open the hill with the first run and then close it with the last hot run of the day

a great day, to be remembered for a very long time

Hi guys.

Realy wanted to have a go at this but circumstances precluded. Damned sciatic leg, foot and ankle would be concerned if I did a blast up the hill. Safety must come first even if the opportunity to give young Jenner a sound thrashing has to be missed.

Agree with davidr and others. Perhaps what we do need to consider is moving ideas forward.

Static field days may now be somewhat expired. I have to admit I`ve found myself struggling to get to yet another shiny car display in a repeat venue with little or no visual or personal action on the day. Clowns, falcons or fire eaters, stuffed cushions or other incidental "attractions" are not why I am a JEC member.

I hope next year will be easier for me and that J44 can show an STR a thing or two.

happy with that BB, got quicker as the day went on too, so should have had a sub 60 sec run at some point, not that it matters as it was NON COMPETETIVE!!

It was a great day,
We can organise a show unto the nth degree, but its the members turning up and taking part that make the day, and in this case it was a special day.

I have already mentioned in another post, we are learning, we are making strides especially in events and looking to do different things. Prescott was a good event and yes we would love to do it again.

Two new style events and its only May, the restoration show (Not a shiny car event) and Prescott.

Onwards and upwards.

James

BB,
It was good to meet you and finally put a face to the name, glad you enjoyed, was good to see your XJS there, she does look very good.

I'm very pleased to read in the Sept magazine that Prescott will again be a JEC venue in May 2016.
