Greetings,

I know its not until next September but..
My wife and I will be driving the xjs to the event next year but not as part of a group. Accommodation is already booked.
I'm after general information such as is there car parking at specific areas or is it a free for all, any hints or recommendations on the best time to go/leave what to see, what not to see etc etc
Does anyone know if the JEC will be going and/or organising anything?

On a more general enquiry, as next year will be the 50th anniversary of the launch of the model will there be any events to mark the occasion or am I getting ahead of things?

Hi David, your profile signature doesn't say where you are located but, whilst I have no inside knowledge to pass along for your planned Angouleme 2025 trip, I can tell you that there will be celebration for the 50th anniversary of the introduction of the XJ-S at our Scottish Jaguar Enthusiasts' Day.

This will be taking place in Glasgow on Saturday the 28th of June 2025, at the Riverside Museum on the banks of the Clyde. If you want additional information on the event, send me a PM, or come back on here and post. There will also be further information posted to the website and, hopefully, via the JE magazine and also Friday Spotlight.

Hi Jim,

Thanks for the response. I'm in Jersey so ferry's etc are an issue. As it stands currently with the new company as yet to finalise timetables we can't even book a crossing to France for a trip in May.
First world problems.
