JEC Northern day 2008

I've been promising myself for a few years that I would go, so this year at last I am!
Hotel's booked, making a long weekend of it and avoiding the Nidd Hall OAPs home at all cost! My apologies to anyone who likes the place, but I stayed there last year and was disappointed.
I hope I can meet some of you at Newby Hall, who else from here is going?

is the details on the forum somewhere? or is it in the latest JEC mag?
Its not this weekend I hope.

A good place to see what events are going on with dates and details, is to have a look at the JEC main home page and select "Events Diary", as they now have an up to date list of all the future events.

Northern day went very well for me. I made a long weekend of it, first by visiting a friend in Leeds on the Friday, then the Keithley & Worth steam railway on Saturday, and eventually returning home on the Monday. 700 enjoyable miles in the xjs and it never missed a beat!

The setting at Newby Hall was very enjoyable with plenty of space and allegedly over 1000 Jaguars of all description in attendance. I had the pleasure to meet up with quite a few friends, some I know personally, some I have previously only met via the web. How nice it was to put faces to names.
