I also think there's an education issue necessary for the club PR management to encourage Regions to always use the Website, Bulletin Board and Diary to promote their events.

This falls under my remit in my new role as JEC Regions Co-ordinator

and I will be encouraging every region to use all formats available to them for promoting and reporting of events etc, I am already tasked with informing regions where required to use the website facilities as well as twitter and facebook communications, this has to be a done in a way that doesn't alienate anyone who isn't comfortable with using this technology but at the same time reminding them that as an organising committee for the region that its in their duty to promote the club

I will send out a circular to the regions encouraging them to post this information across all formats in a timely fashion with the view of attracting as many members as possible to attend these events

Here's an idea for next years nationals, alongside the Concours and Pride & Joy entries how about a LeMONS 24Hr stand for those of us with a car that is somewhat cosmetically challanged?

Basically it must be road legal but the more worn out the better.

I agree with that, sounds like a good idea.
I also think that there should be a 'Pride and Joy in my Completely Average Car' class.
The more average it is the more points that you get.
