just a reminder that next weeks breakfast meeting won't be attended by a few of the regulars, but that is no reason not to turn up as usual and have a breakfast now its open again after the back roof fell in


I and a few others will be in North Wales at our Western day/weekend

right, the next meeting is October 31st , This will start as usual at Kemble for breakfast, and then soon after a drive to Cheltenham to visit Jaguar dealership H A Fox , where i have asked for a tour of the workshop , coffee and a browse of the showroom with the possibility of a test drive of one of the new cars , so bring your license , lol

confirmation of this is to be confirmed , but the manager has agreed in principle

there is limited space for this attendance , no more than ten to be honest, so its first come first served , so get you names in below if you want to come along, but as our average is only six it shouldn't be a problem , lol

just to confirm, this IS happening, the dealership is on board after i paid a personal visit this week, it will be warm dry and coffee laid on in the dealership , space for up to 10 cars, space is limited for parking, there is also a workshop tour for us.

May I boost your numbers?
It's ages since I've been to HA Fox Cheltenham but in the past they looked after my XJS very well, they even had the rare, ancient pre OBD diagnostic kit that plugged into the boot port! They may still have it lost in a cupboard somewhere....it took them a while to find it even then when I needed a new remote key programmed
What time are you meeting at AV8?

timing will be tight to be honest, so i plan to be at Kemble for 9am , and to leave by 10am to get to Chelt for 1030 to 1040 ,

well , thats the plan, lol

who else is going to Kemble first ? or shall we just meet at H A Fox at 1030 ??


this will be my last run of the XJS , going to SORN it and work on the engine over the winter , and see if all the parts i take off are put back in the right place, lol
