Hello guys / gals, new to all this as I normally buy a new car and let the dealership sort any problems.... I've just been given my mother's 1987 XJS 3.6 Coupe Manual which has been her pride and joy. (now a bit low and long for her to deal with) Treated the car better than me

Garaged and with all tax discs, service records, battery trickle charger, indoor cover and less than 40K on the clock it's something I want to treasure. Will be used but not as an everyday run around.

Been reading through a lot of the posts and can see there's loads of experience and enthusiasm for Jags. Hope that you guys can put up with some of my inexperienced queries and look forward to meeting up with JEC members at rallies etc.
