hi managed to aquire an 86 xjsc v12, drove it home to kent, 400 miles,a good way to find out about the car, mechanicaly strong, bodywork seems ok,had respray at some point, the usual electrical problems. know my way around v8"s, rovers, stags, but this is a new adventure, i seem to have found a good garage that works with classic jags, had a chat with them, and with their expertise hope to sort out the problems over the winter months. the car is known to the club, its on the register[C777 EBA] any information would be appreciated. i see you have a forum for the xf, i have an 08 2.7 pl 17000 miles which i have had from new if i can pass on any info regarding the xf feel free to ask,as one of the early members of the xf forum, we covered a lot of issues. tony

Tony,
Welcome to the Bulletin Board and congratulations on your purchase of the XJS!
The vehicle register is merely a summation of all the vehicle details that members have added to their membership records. As you are now the new owner of C777EBA, we have updated the previous member record to remove the car details.
When you get a chance it would be really helpful if you can update your own membership record via the "Vehicle Register" with the XJS (& XF?) vehicle details. You could also upload a few photos for the benefit of the rest of us!
Good luck with the car and, as Rob says, do feel free to contribute also to our new Bulletin Board area on the XF.
