Hi and welcome to the forum!
Kinfisher Blue is one of my favourite colours for one of these cars - I recently helped a friend of mine buy a Daimler XJ40 in the same colour and I think the way it shimmers from green to black to blue really shows off the lines.
Don't worry about electrical problems - they're part and parcel of the experience for many people, me included, but so far it's never failed actually failed to the point where it wouldn't start...
There are some extremely knowledgable people on this forum so if you have any problems with the Cat that you want to ask about then you're in the right place!
Happy Jagging,
Simon R.

Thanks for the welcome Simon!
The first time I viewed my Jag I could have sworn it was metallic blue and the second viewing the same, bought it, got it home and realised it was green!! A great colour though.
Electrical problems part and parcel? I think you need a degree to sort mine out! Then again I have the electrical knowledge of a 5 year old girl. Will put a query on the right bit of the forum.
Once again thanks for the welcome!

Hello and welcome. I have another Kingfisher car and agree it is a very subtle colour which suits the car very well. Mine is '94 reg but has the AJ6 engine so seems to have been a while finding a buyer. It does have the outboard brakes which was a feature I thought desirable. Is your car a runner? All the best with the sort - out. Will you be at Northern Day? Paul.

Hi Paul
Thanks for the welcome!
I agree with you about the outboard brakes, when I first got mine I was unaware of the outboard brakes and the nightmare of replacing the inboard disks, or I would have set my sights on a later model.
Yes my car is a runner, sound mechanically but rad looking a bit ropey now! I need to replace the front nearside wheel bearing. There is a bit of play but passed MOT, still rather do it for peace of mind. Body wise very good. Small bit of rust under bonnet. Tiny stone dent on boot lid and a bit of a scratch on drivers door. I have a chipped front lip spoiler thingy from a previous owner, curbed perhaps?
I hope to be at the Northern Day for the first time, but to early to say for definite.
Dave
