New Owner 1994 Insignia Convertible

Hi All,
I have just bought my first Jaguar - a 1994 Convertible Insignia model, 4.0 engine - and joined the JEC since I am sure I will need the experience and expertise of members here. In 1975 I nearly bought a MkX for £200 with everything working and virtually no rust, but decided to stick with my Wolseley 6/110, eventually selling it for £140 in 1979. I see they are £14,000 now in the same condition! The XJS will be my second car and kept garaged, unlike the Volvo XC70 work car. I understand there were very few Insignia RHD Convertibles made, how many are still on the road in the UK? We are looking forward to meeting up with other owners at a JEC meet in the South East soon. Paul and Patience Cooper
