I've recently purchased my very first Jag from an elderly relative of mine. Most of my relatives on my mothers side have all owned Jags over the years so I'm proud to not only carry the torch and keep this family tradition going but also to keep my relatives car going for many years to come.
I'd describe myself as a serial expensive hobby collector. I've got a good mechanical knowledge having played with small french hatchbacks for many years and still having a Peugeot 106 race car in the garage to keep my sped addiction at bay.
I live in Warrington, Cheshire and have applied to be included in the Cheshire region and am looking forward to meeting the local enthusiasts and gaining more knowledge about these cars.
Well, I just wanted to post my first thread on here to say Hi so i'll keep this one short.
Looking forward to learning about these beautiful cars and learning more about the mechanics to keep her in great shape... She does seem to have a smell of fuel about her so i'm unsure if that's a leaking hose or just how these old cars smell. She is fuel injected so I wouldn't expect to smell fuel but i may be wrong.
