Hello everybody.
I am a new club member and the proud owner of a 1994 XJS 6.0 V12 with just 51k. I bought the car about three weeks ago. I had a bad initial experience as the brakes failed on the way home! These have now been sorted by my local specialist, and the car is now running well. I have spent most of the time since then cleaning and polishing and the car now looks great.
My second car is a 2000 S-type. This was my first jag and a great introduction to the marque, but does not make me feel as special as cruising in the XJS!
I hope to meet up with my regional group soon (Wales-West) and am hoping to make the 25th Anniversary.
I would love to hear from other members, especially those local to Swansea.

Welcome to the fraternity and please remember that 'you have to love them'. I was told that at my service garage when I first became involved and have always remembered it when something began to irk. There are plenty here to help and support.
If you will be at Thoresby on Sat. June 6th I am doing a run for XJS members starting about 11am . Come and join us. Paul. (peggl@btinternet.com.)

Thanks for all the words of welcome. It is really good to be part of the community and know that there is support if I need it. PaulE, thanks for the invite. I am not sure if I will be up in time for the run and I may bring the S-type anyway as the fuel bill in the XJS would be horrendous from Swansea, but I will let you know if I do come up in the XJS. Thanks again to you all, and hope to meet some of you soon.
