Hello from South Wales

Just joined up as I am now in the process of putting my XJ-S back on the road. Its a pre-HE 1980 model in Signal Red with black interior. Its done a genuine 43,000 miles but hasn't been used for a number of years. Fortunately, its not suffered with the usual rust and is totally original. Has the unusual feature of an electric metal sun roof together with a black vynil roof. I understand that the first owner arranged for the sunroof to be installed by Webasto prior to its final build at Jaguar.
Currently in the process of re-commissioning at my tame Jag Indie so will hopefully be back on the road in the not too distant future.

I also have a 2010 5.0 XKR in black with the black pack and speed pack which is doing its best to tarnish my clean driving
license

Welcome to the club and to the Bulletin Board. It's great to hear about another pre-HE that might make it back on the road! First of all - apologies to dme123 for not replying - missed your post for some reason. To answer - yes i am using a Jaguar indie known as Mister Matic in Swansea. I've used him for many years now and can fully recommend his service.

Back to the reason for posting - getting quite excited now - the old girl was MOT'd last week and passed without comment. Final small items to resolve and she will be back on the road again after sitting idle for 27 years !!! Photos to follow - probably in a posting in the General section of the XJS forum.
