Time to re introduce myself on the XJ section. I have already had to do this for the S type, XF (3 times) the XKR, F Type and now the XJ. The F type was a lot of fun for 18 months, but it was a noisy, in your face, hooligan. A hoot to drive, but a bit impractical with only the two seats. Time for head to rule heart.
In March this year, I found an XJ that had been registered by the main dealers on 31st December 2018, probably to boost end of month and end of year sales, with only 1200 miles on the clock. It was way below the list price and, after a test drive, managed to just creep into budget. Superb car. Powerful, comfortable and soooo quiet!
Now I know I’ve said this about all the other Jags I’ve had, but, this one is definitely a keeper! For now anyway.
