A company called NCE have made a convertible from the current XJ. Just wondered what you all think

I have to say I do not like the design of the saloon both inside and out and do not like convertibles either. I know this puts me down as a "grumpy old man" but at my age I do not care! I also live in an area of the UK which has more rain than sunshine.
Looks like a good attempt though, there aren't many four seater saloons with a boot and a soft roof.

Oh dear... this thing  has no place :x to the ultimate elegance and class of the X350.
And it's on the wrong section!!!

Please move the thread to the new XJ (X351?) section, so that it does not spoil the X350 :P

Sorry James... :o

Same as the new F Type, original topic in the right place, (Club Comment - General) then someone else comes along and starts another F Type topic in the XJS Board :? , 10 days later still no moderation and the thread is starting to go off topic, sorry but if some of the Mods on here were carrying out there duties properly these things would have been nipped in the bud, unfortunately as the Board gets busier, its becoming a mess.

I left it in because it is of "general" interest, though doubtful in taste, and at the moment we have no "current XJ" section.( perhaps it is time to start one?)
I do have another life out side of this forum,as most of you do, and although I do read it regularly there are days when I have had other important things to do that are more of a priority recently.
Many apologies to those upset by my recent no appearance on this subject.

I agree this just dosen't look right, but what if it was a two door. After all BMW and Merc do one and don't forget Bentley. I reckon that if the design team at Jaguar got there heads together they could come up with somthing Stunning!

I think they should just start re manufacturing the 350 with a better ride, more powerful diesel ,no corrosion and a sat nav /entertainment centre that is up to date. I like the shape, and the leather and wood, and don't want carbon fibre on my dash board. Is this too much to ask???.....probably!

Well, they may do after they see the number of the new XJ plummet and reach deep bottom at the abyss of luxury car sales...
