XJ 2013 key fob problems

Hi , i have a XJ 2012 and after charging main battery overnight my fob forgot car . Took it to a local garage that specializes in jags and few other makes. It stayed there for five days and most what they did is replaced small battery in boot . They said there is central locking module problem , but they are not 100% sure . Fob works for switching on lights tho . Car opens with keyblade and drives fine . Have anyone been in same situation ?
