Is the New Jaguar XJ Autobiography the Daimler equivalent

Just thinking about the quality of the new XJ autobiography and the similarities to the Range Rover AB.

The extent to which you can tailor and bespoke the vehicle is like the RR. The superior quality of the materials used (quilted stitch seats and laser wood pattern) reminds me of the Daimler Double Six and back in 1998 when it appeared at the British International Motorshow alongside the launch of the S-Type.

Will Jaguar ever reintroduce Daimler to the range?

my guess in , unlikely, the last Daimler was the 358 very very few cars built for the UK market, final production 2009MY, the Chairman of the DLOC has the last production car

BTW, the last Daimler Double Six was produced in April 1997 and not 1998

Always loved the rear seat adjustment package on that car.
