Yes I would like to come (Daimler Sov 1971 4.2 litre series 1) and have registered my interest as requested by the JEC - but nothing from the club yet re booking and costs. I would like to make an actual booking but can't take my interest any further due to lack of feedback.

2018 marks the 70th anniversary of the launch of the XK engine and sports car and the 50th anniversary of the launch of the XJ saloon.

The JEC will be celebrating this on the weekend of 29th June to 1st July 2018 at Wroxall Abbey in Warwickshire.

Rob Jenner and Letitia Mace have once again been asked to put together a timeline which will be static for most of the day, but which will also incorporate a short moving parade.

We are looking for all derivatives of XK120, XK140, XK150, and XJ saloons from 1968 to present day.

If you think your car fits the bill for this prestigious event, please send:

Full model details,

Registration number,

Any interesting history relating to the car,

Photo of the car,

Full name, email address and mobile phone number

JEC membership number,

to Letitia@xclusively-jaguar.co.uk or rob.jenner@jec.org.uk

Numbers for this timeline and parade are very limited, so please let us know without delay, in order to avoid disappointment.

If you were unlucky at Windsor, let us know, and it could be your turn this time!

Kindest Regards

To answer Wayne's question, no the dinner is not Black Tie - but lounge suits and posh frocks for the ladies. Some members/regions will no doubt choose to come black tie because that is what they do its not compulsory....

Hope that helps

I assume you know tis already but just to answer the hotel at Wroxall sold out in a little over 4 hours from launch. Other hotels round a bout are also very full - but you may be lucky somewhere if you are prepared to go further afield.

Hi

On the Sunday I’m part of the courtyard and it says to be parked up by around 9am so if you’re not able to park up at that time I’m sure you’ll be one of the first in - see you Sunday say hello :)
