F-Type review

There are a lot of reviews out there on the F-Type at the moment, and all of them very positive.
The car even topped the trending charts on Twitter for a while (I dont ever remember a car doing that).

A few dare compare an uncomparable but generally if they do it goes against the Porsche 911 or Boxster.

I read this paragraph and I have to say, it sums up the F-Type perfectly.
Certainly, it doesn't have the packaging practicality of that great use-everyday sports car, the Porsche 911. But the 911 has obviously been the target for the way the F-Type goes. The German car and the British steer differently, take bumpy roads differently, sound and look night-and-day different. This is Jaguar's first true sports-car for decades: the people of Stuttgart have been honing theirs non-stop for 50 years. But it's a measure of Jaguar's achievement that unless I'd driven the two back-to-back I wouldn't be sure which I'd like more.
It is that statement "Porsche have been honing their sports car for non-stop 50 years" that is the truest statement I have heard so far. It shows how far the small company of Jaguar has come in a very short space of time under Tata.

Thank you Top Gear and Jaguar.

Hmmmmm, makes you think where can I get £75k...

Passed by two on the way to heathrow on Monday - both were going quickly - wonder who might be the first to lose their licence in an F Type?

I don't think it will be long.

I have had three go past me to date, all not within the speed limit, but by god do they look good!!

Now where is my lottery ticket?
