After torrential rain I discovered a leak in the passenger footwell and now the Media display corpsed and is in a re-boot loop unable to set up.
First where are the drain plugs and likely source of ingress - is it near the pollen filter?
Secondly if I dry it all out will the media unit come back or am I looking at a massive bill for a new unit that has got damp?
Anyone sorted this themselves?

To eliminate the most obvious sources of water leaks, try dusting the door/sunroof seals with talc, wash the car and check for water marks in the talc. If nothing is found, you know you are looking for leaks around cables/pipes/wiper spindles where they pass through the bulkhead. Once electronic components have been wet, there's only a very low chance of them recovering. It may just be better news if water has only entered and damaged a connector. Mike.
