Hi, I have an '09 SV8 and the Softgrain leather dashboard covering is becoming unstuck in areas, notably adjacent to the instrument binnacle and next to the passenger airbag area, and the leather is pulling back around the central speaker grille and along the edge of the windscreen. I have now attached a couple of pictures. Does anybody have any simple cures or know of any companies (preferably local to the Bucks area) who can repair this? I have established that a new dashboard from Jaguar is about £1200, and I am pretty certain that I could do the swap myself (some help from YouTube and other forum images). Would it be best to disconnect the battery before disconnecting the passenger airbag? How about when exposing the two A pillar airbags? What I don't want is to find that when reconnecting the battery, I then suffer from the car not recognising the keyfobs!
Thanks in advance, Steve.
