XF mark 2 wind noise

I have a 2018 XF Portfolio saloon and in the last 3-4 months I have noticed increasing wind noise from the driver's door area. It is really noisy at motorway speeds. Has anyone else come across this and does anyone know the cure?

The seals lose their elasticity over time and and small gaps appear. Try the A4 paper strips test with the door closed and check the loose areas. Solution by either adding rubber strips to the seals or inserting small rubber tubing into the existing seals.
