Just had my alternator replaced on my 2013 Sportbrake XF and my steering now feels heavier at low speeds. Is it possible that the servotronic steering assist has not been reset or am i just imagining it ? I thought the XF did have this system and car definitely feels different at low speeds and parking.

It would be worthwhile checking to see if, while replacing the alternator, a connector for the steering system has been disturbed/left off. Mike.
