Parking camera not working

Hei, I have a 2011 XF and, during the spring, the reversing camera and associated front and rear sensors stopped working. At the time, I read on-line of a number of similar issues with various solutions, (individual sensors being replaced, the infamous wiring harness on the inside right of the boot being replaced, and one of the electronic control modules having to be replaced.
One interesting aspect of my problem is that, during the summer, I have discovered that the camera and sensors all begin working again after the car has been in direct sunlight for a short time. This phenomenom is very repeatable. It happens each time we get direct sunlight without fail. So I have an issue that something is very temperature dependent.
My problem is trying to decide if the fault lies in a sensor, or the wiring harness or one of the electronic modules.
Has anyone had similar issues and circumstances regarding heat through sunlight being such a control factor?
Any suggestions for finding the culprit?

In view of the 'heat' factor, I'm tempted to suggest that dampness/corrosion may be playing its part here. If so, methodically checking and cleaning all the relevant harness connections might be a good place to begin. Alternatively, a diagnostics session either with Jaguar diagnostics or Autologic jaguar diagnostics might help pinpoint the problem and save some time. Mike.

I will check the wiring harness connections for any sign of moisture or dampness.
I should also mention that when my problem first showed itself I had a diagnostic check done at my local Jaguar workshop. This did indicate a rear sensor issue. However, I have read online about manysimilar problems remaing even after sensor replacement.
On our next overcast day, I will try gently warming up the sensor to see if I can repeat the result of direct sunlight.

An update on my problem. After some weeks of very good weather during which the reversing camera and parking sensors have been working, today has been overcast and the reversing camera and sensors once again stopped working.
This evening, I tried gently heating up the sensor identified by the diagnostic test but I failed to get the camera working. So, at present, I am discounting the sensor as being the problem.
My next effort will be to check the wiring harness.

The fact that the whole array of sensors goes off in the cooler temperatures and returns when the car is heated up would, to me, suggest a broken connection - miniscule - on a central parameter, that contracts in the cold and expands sufficiently in the heat. It could be as simple as a broken track / jumper on the module PCB, or a relay pin that is out of alignment.

No further forward in offering a solution, but something else to consider.
