headlight upgrade

Hi All

has anyone tried to upgrade the headlight bulbs or change the inner workings completely for a brighter light ?

i have the xf 2010 model

Are they HID lights? If so there are plenty of upgraded bulbs out there, but some types of light are not legal i think on headlights, eg blue tint.

Yeah! Why not get a fairly modern car and upgrade the lights to make them even more unbearable to everyone else!
If you can't see to drive in the dark then don't go out.

I guess it depends where you live. If in a city like me then the strength of the lights doesn't matter, but having lived before in a rural area then the light strength is definitely important. Although the most modern cars do have incredibly dazzling lights..

I don`t normally reply to idiots on forums ,but in your case I'm going to make an exception .

lets get a few things straight first.

1 you don`t anything about me or the car i drive , you haven't seen the car ,so how can you possibly comment on its lights !

2 if i want to make any changes to my car , its absolutely no business of yours !

3 , i thought the whole idea of a jaguar forum was to help & promote other jaguar drivers to enjoy driving & enjoying their cars , surely advising against driving your jag is the complete opposite of what the forum is about & its ethos!

4 , please in future THINK before posting such a STUPID comment , this kind of comment doesn't help anyone , it just puts fellow owners off asking questions.

managed to do some searching & found these bulbs , there perfect now
