Driver's heated seat not working

Brrr it is feeling cold and my seat does not warm up

I have read up on this and seen it could be a simple fix of wiggling the cables beneath the seat, done that no change. How likely is it going to be the heating elements in the seat if their are any

or does it just have vent fans. The passenger seat heats up fine and when I switch on the driver's seat I hear the fans whirl up just like the passenger's but no heat

I`d start the diagnosis by checking basics first ie, fuse condition. See the table of fuses in the owners hand book. Sometimes, a fuse diagram can also be found in the lid of a fuse box. You will probably have three fuse boxes ie under bonnet, down to the right on the drivers A post and also one in the wheel well in the boot.
Hope that helps.
