2020 x260 sport brake handbrake service mode

I have been trying to put my EPB in service without success. The method I have been trying is ignition on, press EPB off and hold for 2 secs, then whist holding the EPB floor the throttle for 2 secs and then switch the ignition off and on, I get not change in status. I can hear the EPB come off when I floor the throttle, but it re engages when I turn the ignition off.

Can anybody help please.
