Newbie

Postby sshkershaw567 » Sun Nov 24, 2019 10:14 am

Hi all,

Just signed up, I have a 2015 X250 R-Sport Black which I’ve had since 2017. Had 16k on it, now up to 53k. Other vehicles are a 2003 VW T4 Caravelle with semi camper conversion, wife has a 2005 Mini Cooper S Convertible and I also have a Vespa PX scooter.

Just wanted to say hello :D

Hi all,
Newbie to XF ownership also. Picked up a 3.0 ltr 2009 Premium Luxury a few weeks ago. Getting some great MPG out of it already which is great news. I am going to get it down to Swallows in the new year and let them remap it for me. Some excellent figures on the board for the re-map. An extra 54BHP and 100 nm of torque. That should see improved mpg. I will let you all know.

Brakebuster, good to see you back on the Boards. Glad all is going well with your Sportbrake, it does look a beauty.

James

Haa haa,
Nice plug BB. Let me see what the family are up to. This time of year I am certainly on a day to day operation :) What time do you guys meet up?

Hi James - we usually meet at around 9 to 9.30 for brekkie but don't worry if you're a bit later. We'll still be there chewing on bacon and chewing over our cars!
It would be good to see you there
Best wishes

Big change from an F-Type R but have had a 68 plate 300 sport for 2 weeks (only 4k miles). Needed the additional room for touring and love the car. Surprising performance and nice to have updated info system etc. Loved the F-Type too and toured the Swiss Alps in September for a couple of weeks but found just not enough room for the wife, luggage and purchases. One had to go and it was the car; hard choice though  Had to stay in the JEC too and looking forward to meeting more XF members. Cheers. Phil

Hi Phil,
F-Type to XF, big change, but hopefully not regretting the choice you made too much? Does that mean with the XF you will be returning to the Swiss Alps to buy all the things you were not able to buy last time? ;)
