Not really 'new', just returning. Had a great year and a bit with the XKR, but, it's time to have a 'sensible' car again. Managed to find a 61 plate (Dec 2011) XF 3L V6 S with only 15800 on the clock. Good deal on the trade in and getting a full 2 year Jaguar warranty with it. Happy days. It's not an XKR, but then, the XF S is not such a bad car either.........

I am flattered to be followed! Like you I had my fun with an XK8 but have no regrets from the switch to an XF. It's such a well sorted car that the XK8 memory soon evaporates. Enjoy your new toy.

The XF 'S' is no slouch and handles superbly as I am sure you have discovered on those lovely roads in your local area. Love the XF so far. I'm just amazed to have found a Dec 2011 car with only 15000 on the clock and full main dealer history!

There are two reasons why your car has covered such a low mileage.
1. It has been lovingly cared for and used sparingly in perfect weather only
2. It has spent most of its life in the workshop

My money is on number one

Hope your right about no. 2!! It was a Jaguar 'fleet' car and had only 3400 after 18 months. New owner did 10k in a year, then, 1400 the next!! The actual milage when I picked it up was 15100!!! Managed to hit a pot hole and damaged the tire wall on both near side wheels. Back to Taggarts on Wednesday for two new tires. Ooops!
