I have just purchased a 2015 Petrol XJ and am wondering whether Adaptive Cruise Control was fitted as standard on all version of the 2015 XJ? My car model is a 3.0L V6 Premium Luxury XJ.

The owners manual shows the operation of ACC on pages 96 to 100. Whilst the diagram (p95 relating to Cruise Control), shows the setup as per my vehicle, it is marked up differently to my car, whereby it shows 3 markings (up arrow, cancel and down arrow).

If you can help in anyway I would appreciate it.

As a matter of interest I show below my fleet of Jaguar Land Rover.
P.s. As an aside It makes me spit to see the way Jaguar are going. Cancelling the car I was waiting for (the new XJ) shows the direction is only leading one way, downwards! How they can justify the comments about the future dealing in smaller numbers and more ‘upmarket’ vehicles, when the Jaguar XJ was nearly ready to go, is a major concern.

Getting rid of Jaguar dealer franchises (in return for increasing Landrover quota’s) is I believe completely wrong. Saying the XJ is not needed because of the choices in Landrovers models, points very much to the possibility of Jaguar as a brand, disappearing.

I don’t want to buy a Range Rover in place of an XJ and if thats bad enough! The site of ministers now riding in German cars is !! Could you imagine the German Chancellor or French President using Range Rovers! They’d sooner suffer defeat in their respective elections!

You may gather from that, I am a little peeved.

2019 Brochure suggests it was standard on the Autobiography and a £1,645 option on all other models.

Many thanks. I was also recommended to look at the centre Jaguar emblem on the front grill. There is a box there for the Radar.

Nice car collection! Agree re way Jaguar going, very sad. I just can’t get excited about electric cars….

We see the guys in this club keeping their old XK120s and Mark 12s on the road? In 20 or 30 years it’ll be us X351 owners keeping the torch burning LOL!!

I won’t be getting rid of my V8 any time soon and I think the people who buy electric cars now are probably gonna regret it later
