Hi All
put a deposit down today on a very nice S type R,
traded in my x type, this will my first V8 and my first supercharged car, Unfortunately with the Xmas break i wont be picking it up until jan
Its been well looked after, valley pipes and sills have been done, various other jobs completed plus it has a stage 1 performance pack - nice.
Looking forward to it, will post pics when i have it
Any other S type owners near me - N Dorset, S Wilts, E Somerset?

A good STR is great fun especially if it has a few mods done. Loads of information on this S-type section of our site for this model.

Our Doug has one and no doubt will see your post shortly. Do you have any images yet? Would be good to see what you have acquired.

My X350R has the same running gear as the STR. Its also worth looking on the X350 section of this site to see some of the work I`ve done to my car. STR, X350R and early XFR are mechanically all very similar so many of my X350 postings will be directly applicable to the STR.

Very nice looking car, good spec and performance upgrades a rare beast, only about 900 left on the road in this country.
