New S Type owner

Hello to everyone,
After only having owned XJ series cars in the past I recently purchased an S Type, a 3.0 SE 06 Model in Pacific Blue as an everyday car.
My first modern Jaguar and a lot to learn so enjoying absorbing all the excellent info on the BB.
So far done over 3000miles and every journey short or long is a pleasure, great drive and comfort.
First job was the notorious heater valve problem followed by a control panel repair and re-gas to sort it. Apparently very common and something I never thought to check when collecting the car.
I was a bit cooked after driving the 100m home.
Then more recently a new set of discs and pads, the front I managed to fit but not the rear with the EPB.
Very much looking forward to travelling to Ripley Castle this Sunday and meeting other members, lets hope for a fine day.
